First Lady felicitates Maryam Abacha on 79th birthday
First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has congratulated former First Lady Maryam Abacha on the occasion of her 79th birthday.
In a goodwill message on Thursday, Tinubu rejoiced with Abacha, her children, family and associates as she marked the milestone.
The First Lady described the former First Lady as an inspiration to many women, praising her strength and compassion.
“You have been an inspiration to so many women with your virtue of strength and compassion,” Tinubu said in the message.
She prayed for continued good health, peace and joy for Abacha in the years ahead.
Maryam Abacha served as Nigeria’s First Lady during the administration of her late husband, Sani Abacha, who was Nigeria’s military Head of State from 1993 to 1998.
