Former First Lady of Oyo State and Ambassador-designate, Florence Ajimobi, has paid a sympathy visit to Chief Bayo Adelabu following the abduction of his sister and twin nephews.

In a message shared after the visit, Ajimobi said she stood with Adelabu during the difficult period and joined him in prayers for the safe and swift return of his loved ones.

She also extended her prayers to all Nigerians currently in captivity, expressing hope that they would regain their freedom soon.

Ajimobi further prayed for God’s comfort for every family affected by insecurity, asking for peace where there is fear, healing where there is pain, and restoration where there is loss.

Her visit comes amid continued concern over the rising cases of kidnapping and insecurity in parts of the country, with calls for intensified efforts to secure the release of victims and improve public safety.

Western Post reported that Adelabu’s sister, Mrs. Olamide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, and her twin sons were abducted on their way to school, in Ibadan, on Wednesday.
