Nigerian Army inaugurates newly remodeled school in Bayelsa
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja has commissioned newly remodeled Nembe National Grammar School in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
This was made known in a post on the X handle of the Nigerian Army.
According to the post, the project was facilitated and executed under the Chief of Army Staff Special Intervention Civil-Military Cooperation Project for Major General IA Allison.
It read further “The Chief of Army State was ably represented by the General Officer Commanding 6 Division Nigerian Army Major General JH Abdulsalam.
“The projects include; painting and trolling of the whole structures, construction of 8 toilets. Others was remodelling of the gatehouse and front fence, supply of biology, chemistry and physics equipment, and fabrication of shelves at the library.
“The projects also included Installation of solar lights at dinning hall, construction of two blocks overhead tank and fixing of two GP tanks, flooring of kitchen, reticulation of water at newly constructed toilet and kitchen, supply of water dispenser, weighing scale and BP measuring equipment and reinforcement of the fence with concetina barbed wire.
“The executor of the project, General IA Allison, thanked the Chief of Army Staff for the support and urged the Principal of the school to ensure that the facility is maintained. Other highlights of the event include handing over of the project keys to the Principal of the School and group photographs, among others.
“In attendance were the representatives of the Chief of Civil Military Affairs Brigadier General BP Koughna, community and staff of the school”.
