Sanwo-Olu commends massive turnout at Saturday’s presidential primaries

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has commended Lagos State residents for coming out en masse to vote at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Governor Sanwo-Olu arrived at the Ward E3, St. Stephen’s (WAEC) School polling unit on Lagos Island with his wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, at 12:03 p.m. on Saturday to support Tinubu.

While commending the electorate for turning out in large numbers for the election, Governor Sanwo-Olu said: “You have witnessed this APC presidential primary election. As they said, the accreditation process has been completed.”

“The other candidates said we didn’t have representatives, but our representatives are here. All our representatives and party officials are here. I want to thank everybody for coming out to vote,” he added.

At the Ward E3 Lagos Island polling unit, Western Post gathered that President Tinubu polled a total of 1,887 votes.
