Sunday Dare mobilises support for Tinubu’s re-election, empowers Ogbomoso residents

The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, has organised a grassroots mobilisation rally and empowerment programme in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, as part of efforts to mobilise support for the President’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The programme, held on Thursday, attracted political figures, All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders, supporters and residents from across the Ogbomoso zone. It featured the distribution of food items and empowerment equipment, as well as the opening of new classrooms in the area.
More than 1,000 bags of foodstuffs containing spaghetti, semovita and other items were distributed to residents as part of the intervention.
The empowerment component included generators for vulcanisers, grinding machines and sewing machines for selected beneficiaries to support their livelihoods and economic activities.
In the education sector, a block of three classrooms was inaugurated at Maryland Primary School, located within Ogbomoso Girls High School, to improve learning facilities.

Dignitaries at the rally included a former Oyo State Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan; Olusegun Odebunmi; Senator Yusuf Brimmo; Olamijuwa Alao-Akala; and the APC senatorial candidate for Oyo North, Hannah Ogunesan, among other party chieftains.
Addressing the gathering, Dare urged eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and participate in the electoral process. He also called on residents to support Tinubu, Senator Sharafadeen Alli and other APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
Dare highlighted ongoing Federal Government infrastructure projects and policy reforms, particularly the Ibadan–Ogbomoso road project, which he cited as one of the initiatives being undertaken by the Tinubu administration.
