Tinubu felicitates housing minister Dangiwa on birthday
President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Dangiwa, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, the President described Dangiwa as a people-oriented leader and accomplished technocrat, praising his contributions to Nigeria’s housing and mortgage sector.
Dangiwa previously served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) and as Secretary to the Katsina State Government. He has decades of experience spanning real estate, mortgage financing and housing development in both the public and private sectors.
President Tinubu noted that Dangiwa played a key role in championing reforms that repositioned the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria for greater efficiency and profitability, strengthening its contribution to social housing delivery in the country.
The President also commended the minister’s resilience and managerial capacity, acknowledging his continued efforts to support the growth of Nigeria’s housing and mortgage industry in line with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Tinubu joined Dangiwa’s family, colleagues and associates in wishing him good health, strength and many more years of service to the nation.
