VIDEO: ADC candidate whisked away as thugs destroy election materials in Osun

The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rt. Hon. Najeem Salaam, was whisked away to safety on Saturday after suspected thugs invaded his polling unit in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State.
The incident occurred at Unit 13, Ward 4, shortly after Salaam cast his vote.
The suspected thugs subsequently invaded the polling unit, disrupting voting and destroying election materials deployed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The development caused panic among voters and INEC officials, who fled the polling unit for safety.
