Queen Naomi Silekunola, the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, has shared her university journey ahead of her convocation at Elizade University in Ondo State on November 13, 2026.

The queen, who returned to school after more than a decade and sat for another Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination, offered glimpses of her university experience in a video shared on her Instagram page on Friday, thanking God for the journey so far.

The video compilation captured moments she shared with her colleagues, from her 100-level days to the defence of her final-year project while studying International Relations at the university.

The 33-year-old prophetess and mother of Prince Tadenikawo initially began her university education at Adekunle Ajasin University before stepping away to focus on full-time ministry. She later returned to pursue her academic dream, describing the experience as a testimony of perseverance.

Reflecting on her journey, she recalled her registration, matriculation, classroom lectures, examinations and final-year project defence, as well as forming friendships with younger students while raising her son, Prince Tadenikawo.

She described the experience as one marked by courage, growth and rediscovery, acknowledging that each phase came with lessons and challenges, particularly balancing motherhood with her studies.

“From defending my final-year project to signing out, I have come a long way. Now, with convocation in view, I look back with gratitude, pride, and fulfilment of a dream pursued against all odds. This is more than an academic journey; it is a testimony of God’s faithfulness, a story of resilience, determination, and the courage to begin again,” she said.

Queen Naomi also expressed gratitude to God for protecting her during the four years she drove approximately 70 to 80 minutes to and from the university without being involved in an accident, saying the experience reaffirmed her belief that God had been with her throughout the journey.
