Actress Biola Fowosere recounts seven robbery attacks in two years
Nollywood actress Biola Fowosere has recounted how robbers repeatedly targeted her businesses, saying she was attacked seven times within two years despite relocating and taking steps to improve security.
Fowosere shared the experience while reflecting on her entrepreneurial journey and the challenges she encountered while trying to build her businesses.
According to the actress, she started out by selling hair and offering hairdressing services. She initially visited clients in their homes, while some customers came to her home to have their hair done.
She later expanded her business to include the sale of hair extensions, relaxers and men’s clothing materials.
As the business grew, Fowosere rented a larger shop where she began selling cosmetics and other products. However, the shop soon became a target for robbers.
“I first started doing business. I was selling hair. At first, I would go to people’s houses to do their hair, while some came to my house. Later, I started selling hair extensions and relaxers. I also sold men’s clothing materials,” she said.
Fowosere said she later rented another shop after the first one was robbed, hoping to protect her business by changing locations.
However, she added that the attacks continued, with her businesses reportedly targeted seven times within two years.
