First Lady Oluremi Tinubu celebrates Ooni of Ife at 50

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has extended her warm congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
In a statement on Thursday, the First Lady described the monarch’s Golden Jubilee as more than just a milestone, calling it “a testament to wisdom and leadership.”
She expressed her heartfelt wishes for continued strength and prosperity for the Ooni, who stands as a symbol of traditional authority and cultural heritage in Yorubaland.
“I pray that you celebrate many more birthdays on the throne of your forefathers in divine health, joy, peace, happiness, and prosperity,” she said.
Senator Tinubu concluded her message with traditional blessings, wishing Kabiyesi many more years of fruitful reign. Her tribute comes amid widespread celebrations marking the Ooni’s five decades of life, reflecting on his contributions to the Yoruba people and Nigeria at large.
