Nollywood actress Nimmy Ferrari dies days before housewarming

Nollywood actress and social media influencer, Nimmy Ferrari, has died, days before she was expected to celebrate the completion of her new house in Sagamu, Ogun State.

The actress’ death has sparked an outpouring of grief among her colleagues, friends and fans, with news of her passing shared on social media on Monday by fellow actress Oluwakemisola Apesin, popularly known as Kemity.

“Everybody is back home, we left only you IDERA Nimmyferrari. It is well,” Kemity wrote in an Instagram post announcing the death.

Nimmy had reportedly completed the house in Sagamu and was preparing for a housewarming ceremony before her sudden death.

The development has attracted attention because of the timing of her death, as videos circulating online showed people gathered at the property where preparations were reportedly being made for her burial.

Workers were also seen digging a grave within the compound, turning what was expected to be a celebration of the actress’ new home into preparations for her final rites.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports circulating on social media have linked her death to complications from fibroid surgery. However, neither her family nor any official source had confirmed the cause of death as of the time of filing this report.
