Oluremi Tinubu urges youths to aim higher, donates buses to APC youth wing

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, has urged young Nigerians to remain focused on achieving greater success, warning against complacency over modest accomplishments.

Speaking on Friday while receiving the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Wing at the State House in Abuja, the First Lady said diligence, patience, integrity and hard work were essential virtues for personal growth and national development.

She advised the youth to avoid impatience and cultivate contentment, stressing that lasting success comes through perseverance.

“God always knows our needs and that is what the young people do not know; they are always in a hurry,” she said.

“I am teaching you how to learn contentment and not be beggarly.”

Drawing an analogy with the eagle, Tinubu urged the youth to remain resilient in the face of challenges.

“You have to have the eagle’s mentality. When the eagle sees the storm, it laughs at it and sees how it can fly above it. That is what you should all do. You should always look for your own path and not because that person has it, I want it,” she added.

The First Lady commended the APC youth leadership for working together to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures and encouraged them to continue promoting the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
