Ondo lawmaker vows justice for slain constituent

By Boye Oyeyemi –

The lawmaker representing Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo State Constituency, Nelson Akinsuroju, has vowed that justice will be served over the mysterious death of his constituent, Isaiah Bademosi.

Akinsuroju made the pledge during a condolence visit to the bereaved family, whose son was allegedly killed by his employer, Mr. Rufus Olafusi, in Ile-Oluji.

The mother of the deceased, Mrs. Bademosi, accused her son’s employer of being responsible for the tragic incident, describing her late son’s long-standing loyalty to him.

“My son had always been the one picking him up from the airport, helping him acquire farmlands, and taking care of his property. I didn’t know anything until he killed my son,” she said.

The victim’s younger sister, Rachel, also recounted her final conversation with her brother on the night he died, revealing disturbing details about the circumstances. She alleged that upon arriving at the suspect’s home the following morning, she saw blood through a bedroom window and claimed the police moved the body without informing the immediate family.

The lawmaker urged the family to remain calm, assuring them that security agencies were thoroughly investigating the matter.

The Ondo State Police Command confirmed that a suspect is in custody while investigations continue.
