Addressing a large crowd of residents, Senator Tinubu said the centre would promote digital literacy, economic diversification and empowerment, particularly for women and girls, through access to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills.

The facility was named the Lucy Zaiyol Alluor Community ICT Centre in honour of the late educationist and former school principal.
