Promote Tinubu’s achievements – Oyebanji tasks APC leaders

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has urged leaders of the All Progressives Congress in the South-West to step up efforts in showcasing the achievements of President Bola Tinubu to Nigerians.

He said, “Amplifying the administration’s successes would help citizens, especially those at the grassroots, better understand the impact of government policies and programmes.”

Speaking in Ado Ekiti while hosting newly inaugurated South-West executives of the party led by zonal chairman, Isaac Kekemeke, Oyebanji stressed that effective communication of government achievements would deepen public appreciation of ongoing reforms.

“The policies introduced by President Tinubu, particularly in economic reforms and infrastructure, have improved living conditions. It is important for party leaders to make these known to the people,” he added.

He equally noted that the country faced tough economic realities before Tinubu assumed office, adding that the President’s fiscal decisions had strengthened sub-national governments and prevented a deeper crisis.

“The situation across states reflects the positive impact of the President’s initiatives. Party leaders must counter opposition narratives with facts and evidence,” Oyebanji indicated.

Highlighting developments in Ekiti, the governor said progress had been recorded on federal road projects, while the state had also been linked to the Federal Government’s rail scheme, attributing the gains to improved federal backing.

In his remarks, Kekemeke praised Oyebanji’s leadership, describing him as a rising force within the party, while reaffirming the region’s resolve to strengthen its structure and secure electoral victories in future polls.
