Actor Mustapha Sholagbade pens heartfelt appreciation to ex-lover

Yoruba movie actor Mustapha Sholagbade has penned a heartfelt tribute to his ex-lover, Adewunmi Fatai, following the graduation ceremony and 10th birthday celebration of their son, Yasir.

The actor, who recently reunited with his baby mama during the graduation ceremony, took to his Instagram page on Sunday to appreciate Adewunmi for the sacrifices she made for their son and the upbringing she gave him.

He wrote: “Adewunmi Atoke, omo Amope Fatai. I want to use this opportunity to sincerely thank you for everything you have done for our son. None of your efforts has gone unnoticed, and I truly appreciate every sacrifice, support and act of kindness that you have shown.

“I may not be able to repay you for all that you do, but I pray that God, in His infinite mercy and abundance, rewards you many times over. May He continue to bless you, strengthen you and grant you all your heart’s desires. I am deeply honoured and grateful”.

He also thanked Yasir’s grandmother for her support in nurturing the boy.

“You have done so much for Yasir and played a huge role in making him the wonderful boy that he is today. We sincerely appreciate all your love, care, guidance and support,” he said.

In the lengthy post, Sholagbade also expressed appreciation to Adewunmi’s new partner for his care and support, offering prayers on his behalf.

In her response, Adewunmi thanked Sholagbade for the recognition, saying it made her feel appreciated and fulfilled. She also prayed for Sholagbade and his new family, wishing them greater achievements together.
