Annie Idibia dismisses reunion rumours with estranged husband Tuface

Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has dismissed viral online reports suggesting that she has reunited with her estranged husband, Afrobeats star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface.

Rumours of a reconciliation emerged on Friday, July 17, after an old video showing the former couple sharing an affectionate moment at a nightclub resurfaced online.

Another report later claimed that Annie had announced she was expecting a baby with the music icon to seal their reconciliation.

The rumours quickly gained traction on social media, prompting widespread speculation that the pair were back together and drawing mixed reactions from fans.

Reacting to the claims, Annie took to her official Instagram page on Monday, stating that the circulating videos were old and describing the reports as false. “Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.

In another Instagram Story, she posted: “Believe everything you see on social media at your expense. #AnnieMacauley #Peace.”

Annie and Tuface got married in 2012 and have two daughters. The couple announced their separation in 2025 following a series of controversies.

Tuface is currently married to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
