Nigerian former adult film actress Cindy expresses regret over past choices

Nigerian TikTok influencer and former adult film actress Cindy, better known as Cindy of Oshodi, has broken down in tears while reflecting on her past, disclosing that she feels extremely isolated and fears she might be driven to suicide.
Cindy shared an emotional video, which has since gone viral, on her TikTok page on Monday. She said her past actions had cost her genuine friendships and left her struggling with severe loneliness and the reality of how her life had turned out.
“I regret everything I’ve done. I wish I never did those things,” she said tearfully.
The video followed an earlier controversy in May 2026, when adult videos dating from 2019 to 2020 resurfaced online. Cindy subsequently issued apologies, explaining that she made those choices during a period of severe financial hardship as a young mother.
Reflecting on her past, Cindy said she wished she had made different choices and lamented that she no longer had the life she wanted.
Speaking about the effect of her situation on her mental health, the TikToker admitted to having thoughts of ending her life, adding that the thought of her daughter had kept her going.
She also suggested that she might not tell anyone if she reached a point where she could no longer cope, saying she would do it silently. Her statement has raised concerns among social media users, with many encouraging her while others questioned her past choices.
