BBNaija: Keivo secures HoH position as Barry grants immunity to all housemates

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Keivo, has secured the Head of House (HoH) position, while Barry used his ultimate veto power to grant immunity to all the remaining housemates ahead of the finale.

Keivo’s victory came after the Monday HoH challenge, where he defeated other housemates to secure the position. However, his victory came without immunity, as Biggie had a twist in store for the week.

Shortly after the HoH games, Big Brother gathered the housemates in the lounge and asked Barry, the first finalist and the season’s “ultimate veto power holder”, to pick a red envelope.

Inside the envelope, Barry was asked to choose between granting immunity to all the remaining housemates or granting immunity to no one, including the newly crowned HoH. He chose to grant immunity to everyone.

This means that all 10 housemates — Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram — are safe from eviction and have qualified for the final rounds of the show.

The development marks the first time in the show’s history that all finalists have been decided at the beginning of Week 9, which is expected to end after the 10th week on October 4, 2026. It also means there will be no eviction in Week 9 because all the housemates have immunity.

After the nomination, Biggie displayed emotional messages from each contestant’s family, leaving the housemates visibly emotional and teary.

The Season 11 winner will receive a N160 million grand prize. Of the 24 housemates introduced on July 26, 12 have been evicted, while Neche took a voluntary exit and Nomy was disqualified.
