Daniel Etim-Effiong showed professionalism during intimate scene — Kate Henshaw

Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has spoken about her experience filming an intimate scene with fellow actor Daniel Etim-Effiong in the second season of the Netflix series Blood Sisters.

Speaking during a recent episode of WithChude, Henshaw said the scene was handled professionally and that she ensured there was a conversation with her co-star before filming to establish mutual comfort.

According to the actress, she asked Etim-Effiong whether he was comfortable with the scene, and he assured her that he had no concerns about participating in it.

Henshaw commended the actor’s professionalism throughout the shoot, stressing that nothing inappropriate occurred during the filming process despite the intimate nature of the scene.

She stated that Etim-Effiong maintained a professional attitude throughout the production and did not behave in any manner that made the situation uncomfortable.

The actress said, “I had a conversation with Daniel about it. I asked him how far, are you comfortable and he said yes he is, that there is no problem.”

She added, “Daniel did not rise to the occasion, let me just say. He is a good boy. At no point did Daniel Etim rise to the occasion, let me clear that now.”

Blood Sisters, which premiered in 2022, follows the story of two best friends whose lives are thrown into turmoil after a murder on a wedding day forces them to flee. Henshaw and Etim-Effiong are among the cast members returning for the show’s upcoming second season.
