Lagos Police arrests woman with alleged fake N1000 notes
The Lagos Police Command has arrested a woman who allegedly attempted to carry out a transaction with fake N1000 notes.
Spokesman for the Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a post on his X handle, said a viligant POS operator raised the alarm when the woman allegedly wanted to carry out the transaction.
Hundeyin disclosed that investigation is ongoing.
” A vigilant POS operator raised the alarm after a customer, Linda Ihebinike, attempted carrying out a transaction with fake N1000 notes to the tune of N90,000. Investigation is ongoing”, said Hundeyin.
