BREAKING: Ex-Ondo lawmaker resigns from APC over unresolved internal issues

By Boye Oyeyemi
Former member of the House of Representatives for Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Tajudeen Adefisoye, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress.
Adefisoye disclosed this in a statement posted on his Facebook account on Wednesday evening, saying the decision was influenced by his personal conviction and that of his supporters.
The former lawmaker said the resignation followed what he described as the absence of effective internal mechanisms within the party for addressing grievances and resolving disputes.
He said, “This decision was based on my personal conviction and that of my supporters, arising from the lack of effective internal party mechanisms for addressing grievances and resolving issues.”
Despite his exit from the APC, Adefisoye said he remained committed to the success of President Bola Tinubu and would continue to support his administration.
“I remain committed to the success of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and I will always be available to support and work towards his success,” he stated.
Adefisoye also disclosed that he had requested the removal of his name and all records relating to his membership from the APC register, clarifying that his resignation was not recent, but he had only decided to make it public for the record.
Adefisoye served as a member of the House of Representatives representing Idanre and Ifedore Federal Constituency.
