Comedian Warri Pikin lauds police for swift rescue of Adelabu’s relatives

Comedian Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, has commended the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for its swift response in securing the release of Adelabu’s kidnapped sister and nephews, a few days after their abduction.

The victims were kidnapped on June 2, 2026, and later freed through the efforts of security operatives on June 6, 2026. Real Warri Pikin praised the police for the quick rescue operation and urged security agencies to apply the same urgency to the cases of abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.

She also appealed to security agencies to intensify efforts to rescue kidnapped victims, noting that if one rescue operation could be carried out quickly, others should receive the same level of urgency.

Real Warri Pikin is a renowned Nigerian stand-up comedian, actress, and content creator known for her authentic, relatable, and energetic comedic style. She has appeared in films such as Prophetess, Fate of Alakada, and Merry Men 2.

She runs the Real Warri Pikin Foundation, which provides financial grants to women and supports mental health and family advocacy across Nigeria.
