Peller announces private white wedding, caps guest list at 100

Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has announced that his white wedding with fellow content creator Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis, will take place on Saturday, August 8, saying the ceremony will be a private event with no more than 100 invited guests.

The social media personality said he opted for a smaller celebration after expressing concerns about the large number of bloggers and content creators expected to attend and record the event.

Speaking ahead of the ceremony, Peller said he was surprised by the number of people expected at the wedding with phones and cameras, adding that he wanted the occasion to remain intimate rather than turn into a content creation event.

“All those bloggers, I don’t know who brought them. I think it’s the event planner that brought them. I don’t know why bloggers are so many. I saw a video and everywhere was surrounded by people holding big phones. But my white wedding is just 100 people or 80 people,” he said.

Despite his concerns, Peller said he enjoyed the earlier phase of the wedding celebrations, describing it as successful and memorable.

He, however, maintained that the white wedding would be different, with attendance restricted to between 80 and 100 guests to ensure a more private atmosphere.

The white wedding is scheduled to hold on Saturday, August 8.
