Tiktok stars Peller, Jarvis exchange vows in star-studded Lagos wedding

TikTok creators Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, known as Jarvis, exchanged marital vows on Saturday in a star-studded wedding ceremony in Lagos that drew widespread attention on social media.
The couple had announced their wedding date weeks earlier through a cinematic video shared across their social media platforms, confirming Aug. 1, 2026, as the day they would tie the knot.
Ahead of the ceremony, Peller shared a message on Instagram, writing: “Today, we become one. Two tribes, one love. Two families, one forever. A new chapter begins and forever starts now”.
Peller and Jarvis rose to fame on TikTok through comedy skits, prank videos and relationship-themed livestreams, becoming one of Nigeria’s most followed digital couples over the past two years.
Their journey to marriage played out publicly, beginning with Peller’s proposal to Jarvis in June at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana. He later visited her family in Benin City, Edo State, for the traditional introduction and bride price payment.
The couple also completed their civil wedding earlier in the week before the Lagos ceremony, with the hashtag #JP2026 trending across social media in the build-up to the event.
Although their relationship has experienced public controversies, including a brief separation over privacy concerns, the pair have remained among Nigeria’s leading digital content creators, securing endorsement deals and making appearances at major entertainment events.
