2027: Otedola rallies Dangote, Abdul Samad for Hamzat at sumptuous dinner

Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has hosted fellow industrialists Aliko Dangote and Abdul Samad Rabiu at a dinner in honour of Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, who is aspiring to succeed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in 2027.

Rabiu disclosed this in a post on his social media handle on Monday, describing the gathering at Otedola’s residence as an evening of friendship and meaningful conversations.

He said Otedola hosted Dangote and him at the special dinner to honour Hamzat, who is seeking to become the next governor of Lagos State.

“An evening of warm friendship and meaningful conversations,” Rabiu wrote.

The BUA Group chairman also extended his best wishes to Hamzat as he pursues his ambition to lead the state.

“I extend my warmest wishes to Dr Hamzat as he pursues his ambition to lead Lagos State, wishing him every success in the journey ahead,” he said.

Hamzat, who has served as deputy governor since 2019, is among the political figures linked to the race to succeed Sanwo-Olu, whose second term will end in 2027.
