JUST IN: Tinubu, First Lady arrive at Ikoyi for APC presidential primary

President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu have arrived at Ward L2, Ikoyi, Lagos, on Saturday morning to participate in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary ahead of the 2027 general election.
The President arrived alongside party officials, security personnel, and supporters as voting commenced across APC wards nationwide under the party’s direct primary system.
Tinubu is seeking the APC ticket for a second term of four years.
The APC presidential primary is the internal process through which the ruling party selects its candidate for Nigeria’s presidential election. For the 2027 race, the APC adopted a direct primary model, allowing members across the country’s 8,809 wards to vote.
