Flamingos drawn against Canada, France, Samoa in U-17 Women’s World Cup

The draw for the ninth FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup was held on Wednesday, with Nigeria’s Flamingos drawn in Group D.
The ceremony, which took place in Rabat, Morocco, placed the Flamingos in a group alongside Canada, France, and Samoa.
According to the draw, host nation Morocco will face Brazil, Italy, and Costa Rica in Group A, while Group B features Korea DPR, Mexico, Cameroon, and the Netherlands.
In Group C, the United States will compete against Ecuador, China, and Norway, while Spain, Colombia, Korea Republic, and Côte d’Ivoire will clash in Group E.
Group F is made up of Japan, New Zealand, Zambia, and Paraguay, completing the tournament’s lineup.
For the first time since the competition began 17 years ago, 24 countries will participate in the tournament, which was first hosted by New Zealand.
