Tinubu departs Abuja for Yola to commission key projects

President Bola Tinubu on Monday departed Abuja for Yola, Adamawa State, on an official visit aimed at commissioning key infrastructure projects and engaging with stakeholders in the state.
The presidential jet took off from the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 12:01 p.m.
The visit to Adamawa State is part of the President’s ongoing northern tour, coming less than two days after his engagement in Kebbi State. During the one-day trip, Tinubu is expected to inaugurate several completed projects in Yola and Jimeta.
According to a statement by Presidential Spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, the President will commission the eight-lane Galadima Aminu Road, a major link connecting Gimba to the state capital. He will also unveil a new model school designed to cater to pre-primary, primary and junior secondary pupils.
Other projects slated for inauguration include a multipurpose hall, the remodelled High Court, a newly constructed officers’ complex, and the renovated Government House.
Beyond the project commissioning, the President is scheduled to hold meetings with senior government officials, traditional rulers and community leaders as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots engagement and promote infrastructure renewal.
Tinubu is expected to return to Abuja later in the day after completing his engagements in Yola.
